Registration Cost is $50 per person (includes all sessions & presentations,
banquet on Saturday evening).
St. Angela's
Convent has announced they will provide dorm rooms during the festival.

This year's theme is "Focus
on Writing" (your history, geneaology, culture,
experiences);
and organizers are pleased to present a Writer's
Workshop.
Featured writers are:
Ron Vossler (East Grand Forks, MN), Sharon Chmielarz
(Minneapolis, MN),
Jacqueline Baker (BC), Gabriele Goldstone
(Winnipeg, MB), William Wardill (Eatonia, SK).

June 12
|
Registration
and Information Packages will be available, beginning at 1 PM at the
Leader Community Hall. You may wish to register for area
bus
tours at
this time. The festival officially opens at 3 PM, followed by presentations.
To commemorate
the 100th anniversary of settlement in this area, you are invited to
attend Picnic in the Park at 5:30. This event is open to the public,
free of charge.

June 13 |
Look forward
to a full day of presentations and demonstrations or bus tours.
|
| Saturday,
June 14 |
Begin the
day with a pancake breakfast, ($5, not included in registration fee),
followed by a small town parade, celebrating the 100th anniversary of
settlement in the Leader area. After the parade, sample grebble (elephant
ears) at The Leader Friendship Centre.
During
the afternoon attend a writer's workshop, presentations, or a bus tour.
The evening
banquet will feature homemade sausage, cabbage rolls, sauerkraut, and
pork ribs, potato salad, and smoked pork hocks.

| Sunday,
June 15 |
The non-denominational
church service will be held at Blumenfeld Church Historical Site (10
miles south of Leader on Highway 21; follow the signs); performance
by the German Harmonie Club Choir from Medicine Hat.

All bus tours are $10 per trip, per person, payable upon registration.
All buses leave from Leader Community Hall.
